2024 Ballot Initiatives. Ten measures will be on the ballot and will ask voters if they support raising the minimum wage, cracking down on crime, banning forced prison labor, capping rent. A “yes” vote will amend missouri statutes to increase the state minimum wage beginning january 1, 2025 to $13.75 per hour and increase the hourly rate $1.25, to $15.00 per.
Two initiatives qualified for the ballot—amendment 3 would legalize recreational marijuana and amendment 4 would provide a constitutional right to abortion—and will. There are 10 statewide propositions on the ballot this year, ranging in issues from education funding to marriage equality, minimum wage increases to public safety.
